About Jill
Dr. Jill Moore EdD, MHS, BSDH, RDH is the Director of the Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) program at the University of New Haven. Dr. Moore has been adjunct faculty for the University of New Haven since 2013 in the Bachelor of Dental Hygiene (BSDH) degree completion program and the Master of Public Health program. Dr. Moore holds a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Dental Hygiene from East Tennessee State University, her Master鈥檚 Degree in Health Administration and her Doctorate Degree in Education, both from A.T. Still University. Dr. Moore worked as a clinical Registered Dental Hygienist for 13 years prior to working for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) in the Oral Health program for 14 years. At the MDHHS, her primary roles included implementing public health programs, grant management, managing the school-based dental sealant program and leading Basic Screening Surveys to collect open-mouth oral health related data on a variety of populations. She is a collaborating member of The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) and assists with education surrounding infection control within mobile dental programs. She began teaching in 2011 in various academic programs and has earned certificates from Quality Matters to bring quality education to the online classroom.
