Sexual Misconduct Policy
四色AV of New Haven ("the University") is committed to providing an environment in which all members of the University community are safe, free from fear, intimidation, or harassment, and able to participate fully in the educational and social opportunities available to them at the University.
四色AV鈥檚 Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy describes the University鈥檚 prevention policy toward sexual misconduct of any kind, including sexual assault, non-consensual sexual contact, non-consensual sexual intercourse, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, dating violence, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, stalking, intimidation, sex-based discrimination, and pregnancy discrimination. It also provides guidance for students, employees, and third parties to the University who have been subjected to sexual misconduct, and outlines the University鈥檚 disciplinary response.

In addition to being a violation of University policy, sexual misconduct is prohibited by federal and state laws, including but not limited to the Connecticut General Statutes (Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act, section 46a-60 (a) (8)); Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 United States Code Section 2000e et seq.); Title IX of the Higher Education Act of 1972; and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act, including the Campus SaVE Act.
