About Victoria
Victoria is a practitioner-in-residence in the聽Department of Art and Design鈥檚 Interior Design program. She has been working in the fields of architecture and interior design since 2005. Her career has been focused in the residential and hospitality design sectors. In 2021, she started her own design business, Victoria Hunt Design, while obtaining her M.Arch. at the University of Hartford where she graduated top of her class. When she is not teaching at the University of New Haven, she is running her design business from her home. She has a son named Ash and two rescue pit bulls named Midnight and Velma.
Victoria believes that great design is attained by being diligent about research, development, observation, and by asking many questions. Her approach to design is based on thorough investigation of a problem and keeping the health, safety, and wellness of both humans and the planet at the forefront of one鈥檚 decision-making.
