About Cindy
An award-winning journalist, playwright and author, Cindy Wolfe Boynton's background includes more than 15 years as a regular correspondent for The New York Times, nine years as the editor of Better Health magazine, and more than two decades of experience in PR and marketing. As an author, she writes mainly non-fiction, focused on bringing the stories of women lost or forgotten from history to life. Her one-woman plays "Right Time to Say I Love You" and "Dear Prudence" made their premieres in Manhattan, just steps off Broadway on 42nd Street, with "Right Time" going on to be performed in England. An instructor with University of New Haven's Prison Education Program, she is active in state and local politics and policy reform, serving as a member of the Milford Board of Education, as president of the Connecticut chapter of the National Organization for Women, and as a member of the Connecticut Governor鈥檚 Council on Women and Girls.
